Hotwells, Bristol, England. Regular visitors please note that this site will undergo a complete overhaul at some time in the future, but updates are regularly made to different areas of the site.
Hotwells is the historic area of Bristol in which I live.
Much of the wealth of modern Bristol was derived from the horrors of the Slave Trade and plantations in the West Indies where brutal
so-called Christian merchants exploited their fellow human beings in an indescribable manner. This part of Bristol's past is all too often swept under the carpet.
Theatre and the Arts in Bristol: Bristol Old Vic, Circomedia, QEH Theatre, Redgrave Theatre, St George's Bristol, Wallace and Gromit,
Dance Centre, Show of Strength, Tobacco Factory.
Music: including Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts, Link Wray, Jefferson Airplane, Clannad, The Residents, Elvis, banned
